Is a Redesign of Big Creek Park Needed?

11 Alive News reports the son of injured bicyclist Barbara Nicholas is fighting to have the city redesign Big Creek Park and Greenway.

A local woman's death has one family urging the city of Roswell to redesign Big Creek Park and Greenway, according to 11 Alive News. Barbara Nicholas, 67, died this month of injuries - including paralysis - incurred during a head-on bicycle collision in the fall of 2010 which has been blamed on blind spots along the greenway. Now her son, Steven Nicholas, is urging the city to change the park design so a similar tragedy doesn't befall another family, the television news station reports. Do you ride your bicycle at the park? Have you noticed blind spots? Do you agree the park and greenway need to be redesigned? Tell us in the comments below.
