There aren’t many occasions to see things as they would have been viewed in the 1800’s, but the Southern Trilogy Historic homes are providing just that opportunity at the annual Candlelight Tour on Dec. 8 from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall and Smith Plantation have tastefully decorated each majestic home in their holiday finery for all to enjoy. Delight in Smith Plantation’s decorations by the Roswell Garden Club as they reveal ‘Christmas in Georgia’. The Southern Trilogy homes transformed into England, France and Italy during the Trilogy Trolley Crawl this Saturday, Aug. 20.
For the third year in a row, Roswell will showcase its Southern Trilogy homes during the “Trilogy Trolley Crawl” this Saturday. This year the staff at Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall and Smith Plantation have concocted a European getaway experience for guests, according to Morgan Timmis, historic and cultural affairs manager for Roswell. People should expect to have "a great time," she said of the event. The city, which expects 1,000 to 1,200 people at the event, will sell tickets through tomorrow's "Alive After 5" on Canton Street and they anticipate running out.
