Not everything shuts down for the holiday. Here are a few of the places we've found that are still open on Christmas, Tuesday, Dec. 25.
Starbucks - Who couldn't use a good cup of coffee after waking up at the crack of dawn to see what Santa brought? The Starbucks at 10800 Alpharetta Highway (at the corner of Mansell Road) will be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Starbucks at Highway 92 and King Road is open from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Swing by on your way to Grandma's house. Aurora Cineplex - When that afternoon lull hits after the turkey has been consumed, grab some popcorn and head to the theater! Aurora Cineplex at 5100 Commerce Parkway will open from 1 p.m.-10 p.m. and features several movies that came out this week, including "Django Unchained," (opens Dec. 25) "This is 40" and "Monsters, Inc 3D." Here are some closures to keep in mind this holiday break when you are out and about.
Don't forget about these closings during the Christmas holiday. Government: City of Roswell offices will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1. All Fulton County government offices are closed Monday, Dec. 24-Tuesday, Dec. 25. Offices reopen Wednesday, Dec. 26. Mail will not be delivered Tuesday, Dec. 25 by the United States Postal Service. School: Fulton County students are out for break from Thursday, Dec. 20-Jan. 3, 2012. Staff reports back Jan. 4, 2012. Library: Roswell Library will be closed Dec. 24-25.
