Kroger Recalls Some Mardi Gras King Cakes

Stores in Georgia are part of the recall.

The Kroger - Atlanta Division said today it is recalling some in-store baked Mardi Gras King Cake Cinnamon sold in four states, including Georgia, because it may contain pecans not listed on the label. Customers who purchased the product between Dec. 30 and Feb. 4, should return the product to stores for a full refund or replacement. People who are allergic to pecans could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. For consumers who are not allergic to pecans, there is no safety issue with the product. Kroger stores in three other states are included in this recall including: Alabama, South Carolina and eastern Tennessee. In Roswell, Kroger stores can be found at 900 Marietta Highway, 570 East Crossville Road…
