The first official Board of Education meeting of 2013 resulted in a new look for the board table with new officers and three members beginning new four-year terms. Outgoing president Linda Schultz, who represents District 1, which covers most of Roswell, was re-elected president of the Fulton County Board of Education for a two-year term. Linda McCain, who represents District 5, was elected to a one-year term as vice president. President Schultz was first elected to the school board in 2005 and represents areas in Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell.
