We've compiled a list of closings in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday.
All federal, state and local government offices as well as banks will be closed on Monday Jan. 21 in honor of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The holiday marks the birthday of the famed civil rights leader. King’s actual birthday was on Jan. 15, but the third Monday of January was designated as the official holiday in 1983. The city of Roswell and the Fulton County government will be closed for the holiday. Roswell residents who utilize the city's sanitation services can expect yard waste removal as usual for Monday customers. The Roswell Recycling Center will be closed on Monday.
