Missing Man: Police Seek Missing North Fulton 19-Year-Old

First reported as a kidnapping, Johns Creek police believe Aftab Aslam sent the text message claiming he was kidnapped.

Three law enforcement agencies have been searching for a 19-year-old North Fulton man since last Saturday; now they're asking for help from the public in finding him. Aftab M. Aslam, who is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 165 pounds and has medium-length black hair, was first reported as being kidnapped on April 27 at 10 a.m. Johns Creek Police responded to his Morton Crossing address, where officers were told he was missing from his home. "Aslam’s family reported that they had received a phone text stating that he had been kidnapped," a news release from the city said. Bringing the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) into the case, investigators found the phone used to send the text and discovered …

UPDATE: Angela Pulliam-Salay Found Safe

The search for Angela Pulliam-Salay is over, say authorities.

UPDATE - May 29, 6:32 p.m.: The Johns Creek Police Department has located Angela Pulliam-Salay, a Johns Creek resident reported missing over the weekend, and has confirmed that she is safe. "The JCPD’s search for her is now officially ended," the department said in a statement. "We anticipate no further updates." Johns Creek Police told Patch on Tuesday that there are no new developments concerning Johns Creek resident Angela Pulliam-Salay, missing from her home since Sunday, May 27. Missing Man Needs Medication

The Roswell Police Department is seeking the community’s help in locating a missing man. Wasim Wajeed, a 23 year old black male, has been missing since Monday, May 28. He does not have his required medication, cell phone, or any money. Wasim was last seen near the Woodcreek Apartment complex wearing a dirty, gray t-shirt with a blue and yellow Notre Dame t-shirt over top, dark pants and black Nike boots. Body Found on the Chattahoochee

Several emergency personnel departments searched the Chattahoochee River for a missing man on Wednesday, April 13. A body was pulled from the river in the early evening.

UPDATE Thursday, April 14, 10:48 a.m.: Authorities from Roswell and Sandy Springs have found the body of Philip Ray Stonebrook, 67, who fell into the Chattahoochee River Wednesday afternoon after his kayak overturned.  Roswell and Sandy Springs Police departments, with the help of the Roswell Fire Department, spent Wednesday afternoon, April 13, searching for Stonebrook, an Oregon resident who was visiting Roswell. Stonebrook and a friend had been kayaking on the Chattahoochee River. But when they stopped for lunch, Stonebrook - who was not wearing his life vest at the time - stood to exit the kayak and fell into the water when it turned over. The friend found Stonebrook's life vest about 50 yards from where he fell in. The call for help …

UPDATE: Missing Roswell Woman Found

The Roswell Police Department is asking for help in locating Heather Brooks, who has been missing since the afternoon of Dec. 30, 2010.

The missing Roswell woman police were searching for through the night and into today, Dec. 31, has been found. Heather Brooks is home, safe and sound, according to the Roswell Police Department. They have canceled the search. Brooks went to visit a friend at North Fulton Regional Hospital on the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 30. At 5:30 p.m. Brooks' boyfriend, Gregory Bates told police that he received a text message from her, but she never came home. When he didn't hear anything more from Brooks and she didn't show up, Bates called police. Roswell police arrived at his Arbor Creek Drive residence around 7:50 p.m. to take a missing persons report. According to Bates, Brooks suffers narcolepsy and is on medication. The department sent out its…
