Roswell PD to Host 'National Night Out' Tuesday

Bring the whole family out to the National Night Out celebration at Roswell City Hall, Tuesday, Aug. 7.

Roswell Police Department and Roswell Target stores are inviting local residents to National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7. The free event will be held at Roswell City Hall. Food, drinks, a rock climbing wall, a dunk tank, local vendors and prizes are just some of the things residents can look forward to enjoying during the event. Police vehicles, fire equipment, SWAT, K-9 demonstrations and children games are all part the special event, which is held in towns across the country. The event is designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. Roswell Police Hold 'National Night Out' Tonight

Police departments across the country, including Roswell, will host an open house tonight, Tuesday, Aug. 2 from 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

Get to know your neighbors and those sworn to "serve and protect" Roswell residents during tonight's "National Night Out," an event held throughout the country to increase crime prevention awareness. The Roswell Police Department will partner with sponsors - the Roswell Target stores - to offer residents food, drinks, games and prizes. There will also be police vehicles and fire equipment on-hand for an up-close-and-personal look. "This enjoyable national event is designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners," states the release sent out by the Roswell Police Department.
