Bank of America Donates Habitat Property to Roswell Family
A dedication ceremony takes place Saturday, Feb. 9.
Thanks to a donation from Bank of America,North Central Georgia Habitat for Humanity will hold a "first nail" dedication ceremony in Roswell for the Boling family this Saturday, Feb. 9. The real estate owned (REO) donation is part of a national partnership with Habitat for Humanity International through which the bank will donate up to 2,000 vacant properties for renovation or reconstruction over the next three years, according to a recent press release. The home had been a foreclosure and was in need of extensive repairs. Habitat acquired the home in October and was able to renovate it with the help of HOME grant funds provided by the city of Roswell.
