Roswell Mayor Wood Wins Charity Challenge

North Fulton Community Charities gained $1,000 in mostly wrapped toys in a challenge between Alpharetta and Roswell's 'first couples.'

Alpharetta Mayor Arthur Letchas and his wife, Sally, faced off against Roswell Mayor Jere Wood and his wife, Judie Raiford, but the real winner was North Fulton Community Charities. The Roswell and Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureaus sponsored the gift wrap challenge at North Point Mall on Oct. 18, which gave each couple a limited amout of time to wrap gifts, complete with bow. Kids' Corner: North Point Mall
