We asked, Roswell Patch readers answered. Monday we asked you how you would improve local park and recreation areas. Here's a sampling of your responses.
From the ambitious to the readily achievable, from upscale aspirations to the socially conscious, Roswell residents always offer some interesting and sometimes controversial ideas. Here's what you said in response to this week's Community Agenda survey. Which parks do you frequent the most in Roswell? What features and/or activities determine which parks are your favorite? Does Roswell need more park space? What park features and/or activities would you like to see added? Are there any unnecessary features or programs you think the city should cut to save money? Do you agree or disagree with these answers? Have more to say? Tell us in the comments below!

Roswell is a pretty great place to live; but what would make it better? Are there problems in town you'd like to see addressed? Are there opportunities to improve our city?
An involved community can bring progress and prosperity. Roswell Patch hopes to help foster some of that engagement here on the site. As the editor, I often hear people talk about their vision for the future of this community, its schools, economy and more. But I'd like to hear from you. What do you want to see happen? Your responses can help drive local focus and, in some cases, even action. Check back every Monday for new questions so you can share your ideas, suggestions and even your own questions. Then, the following Saturday, we'll publish some of the most interesting responses, pass on your ideas for change to local representatives and often try to follow up with reports on where the community stands on the issues you've brought up…

The storms that rolled through Friday night, April 15, raised the water level of the Chattahoochee River.
Despite the intensity of the storms that rolled through Roswell on Friday night, April 15, Saturday brought clear skies and cooler temperatures than we've had in the last week. The Chattahoochee River was swollen with extra water from all the previous night's rain, however that didn't stop residents from getting out to enjoy local events or parks along the river.
