Who Has the Best Pie in Roswell?

You tell us. We'll tell everyone else.

Pie; it's an American holiday tradition and everyone has their personal favorites. But when local families don't have the time or energy to bake their own, Roswell has several go-to places for the delicious dessert. We asked on our Roswell Patch Facebook page fans their favorite places in town for the perfect pie. Jeff Frantal wrote: "Gonna have to go with pie hole, with Greenwoods a close second." Frantal isn't alone in his thinking, the top two responses we got were: Share your opinions on these two places for a great pie and recommend others by writing a review of your favorite in our directory listings (click the links above). We'll pull together some of our favorite reviews and feature them next week.

Share Your Thanksgiving Recipes with Roswell Patch

Send us your favorite Thanksgiving recipes, we'll share them with the community! christine.foster@patch.com

If we're really honest, most of us can find quite a few things to be grateful for this Thanksgiving - including the meals we'll enjoy on Thursday. Whether you find yourself endlessly peeling potatoes, up before the sun to start the turkey, tinkering with your grandmother's cranberry sauce recipe or picking up a certain store-bought pie each year, everyone has something they prefer at their Thanksgiving feast. We would love to hear what your favorite Thanksgiving foods and recipes are! So go ahead, send us your favorite Thanksgiving recipes! Tell us where you got it (or if it's your own creation) and why you love it. We'll post the recipes we receive early this Thanksgiving week. Send recipes to editor christine.foster@patch.com by Monday, …

It's got to be, cornbread dressing!!! Bake your cornbread as directed on cornmeal bag, take out...cool. & then lovingly break up cornbread in a bowl, add chicken broth, a pinch of sage (do not go overboard!!!), a little butter & a pinch of salt & pepper. Pour back in a pan & bake on 350 until browned & delicious!!!   more ›
