Coach Resigns After Public Indecency Arrest

Reginald Burnette, a Roswell resident, had been on indefinite leave following the Jan. 29 arrest.

A former NFL linebacker, and Roswell resident, accused of exposing himself to a woman in an East Cobb subdivision last month has resigned from his job at a Sandy Springs school. Reginald Burnette submitted his resignation as Mount Vernon Presbyterian School head football coach last week, the school's spokeswoman told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Burnette, 44, was arrested Jan. 29 on a misdemeanor public indecency charge, according to Cobb County Sheriff's Office online records. He was released the same day on $1,000 bond. The alleged incident did not involve students or employees of Mount Vernon, which serves children in preschool through 12th grade, according to the AJC. Cops to Horseshoe Bend Man: 'Don't Pee Off Patio'

A Horseshoe Bend resident allegedly got an unexpected eyeful when her neighbor dropped his pants to pee off the back patio of his home in front of she and a friend. The woman and her friend told Roswell Police they had been chatting on the back deck late Saturday afternoon at the same time a neighbor, in his 60s, and his wife had allegedly been drinking on their patio nearby. The alarmed resident told police she had seen the couple go indoors, only to watch the man return to the patio, pull down his pants, look in her direction and, after about 10 seconds, shake his genitalia before pulling his pants back up. Officers stopped by the accused neighbor's home to ask him about the incident. After initially telling officers he'd done "nothing" …

Sexual Acts Performed in View of Public Areas at Waller Park

Seeing a vehicle parked on the trail behind Waller Park with its lights on, Roswell Police drove up to find a woman, in a state of undress, performing a sexual act on a man inside the car. According to the police report, the pair were found in a very compromising position, which could have easily been seen by park visitors since the vehicle was allegedly visible from the trail, playground and not far from the building where league games were in progress. The report did not say whether any local residents or park visitors had complained about seeing the sexual acts firsthand. The 27- and 28-year-old couple, both Kennesaw residents, were arrested for the incident, which occurred around dusk, Wednesday, July 25. They were charged with public …

The following arrest information was supplied by Roswell Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. A Miami man was arrested by Roswell Police on Sunday, July 3 for public indecency after an officer witnessed him urinate on and around his vehicle parked in front of the Starbucks on Alpharetta Highway. When asked why he had done it, the arresting officer reported the man, who appeared intoxicated, told him that he could "not make it to the restroom inside Starbucks." According to the police report several people were sitting on the patio near the man when the incident occurred.  Though he told one officer he had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, the man later recanted to the arresting officer and denied having any …
