Postal Rally Takes Over Canton Street Tonight

A rally to save the U.S. Postal Service is set to take place between 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 27.

If you happen to notice a group of people in like-colored t-shirts who are seemingly passionate about being on Canton Street tonight, it's not a new supper club and you may want to join them once you hear their cause: trying to solve the financial situation of the U.S. Postal Service. A group lead by Paul Barner, a local leader from the National Association of Letter Carriers, will join in solidarity with postal employees from each of the congressional districts around the country today, Tuesday, Sept. 27, during a day of action to Save America's Postal Service.
