Your Views: How Roswell Can Be "Greener"

We asked, Roswell Patch readers answered. Monday we asked you how you would like Roswell to be "greener." Here's a sampling of your responses.

From the ambitious to the readily achievable, from upscale aspirations to the socially conscious, Roswell residents always offer some interesting and sometimes controversial ideas. Here's what you said in response to this week's Community Agenda survey. What steps have you made to "go green?" Do you utilize any city sponsored programs or events that promote "green" living? (ie. Bring One for the Chipper, Roswell Recycling Center, etc.) Are there more opportunities for Roswell to become a "greener" city? Where and how should they be implemented? While I am certainly in favor of living in a nice community, and Alpharetta seems to be doing a little bit better job than Roswell, I am not in favor of using tax dollars to "go green". It's amazing how many great ideas are out there -- provided that someone else, i.e., the taxpayers, pays for them. I wonder how many of these great ideas would survive if the promoters had to raise the money …   more ›
