Roswell Gymnastics Takes First at State
This was the third time the girls Level 6 program won the title in four years.
Having had a strong season, Roswell Gymnastics was poised for a successful meet at the 2012 Level 3 and 6 state gymnastics meet held at Lanier High School recently. On Saturday, Nov. 10, all qualifying Level 6 gymnasts in the state of Georgia competed in the individual competition. Roswell boasted 18 State Champions on the following events: Vault: Bars: Beam: Floor: All Around: Roswell placed first in the preliminary team finals. The top eight teams from Saturday’s meet progressed to the final team competition on Sunday, Nov. 11. Roswell started on bars and posted the highest team score of the meet; beam and floor followed.
