Mac McGee has been open for a month, but city leaders and business managers made it official Friday, April 12 with a ribbon cutting. The new Irish pub made a splash onto the historic district scene with its red exterior, painted late last year. While some promised a boycott, the flashy color hasn't seemed to hurt business. A large number of runners and spectators enjoyed the gorgeous weather, Saturday, April 13 while they raised money to benefit Children's Hospital of Atlanta. After completing a 5k and 10-miler, runners spent time taking in the live music at the Heart of Roswell Park and frequenting historic district businesses, which offered specials throughout the day.
