Hard-fought success is usually sweet, but for Roswell Provisions owners Cyril Blacha, Kelly Smith-Blacha and Lorry Kemp the ever increasing sales and overwhelming popularity of their charming market on Canton Street had an unexpected side effect - people wanted to buy everything, including the furniture. "We decided to open 'Provisions for Home' to save our marriage," jokes Cyril. "Since the opening of Roswell Provisions, everybody wants to buy the furniture and decorations we used! As a business man, I was willing to sell it, but my wife, Kelly, refused and argued with me that not everything is for sale." Canton Street’s newest addition, Roswell Provisions, opened this past week in the popular historic district. It’s the latest venture from the owners of Party Chic and Kelly Kakes, which are located just above the first floor Provisions storefront, mid-Canton Street. The new store is part gift shop, part café, part delicatessen, part wine shop, part farmers market and all community-centered Old World. “I think it’s fabulous,” said Roswell resident Peg Seely. “There are a lot of choices and the olive oil looks wonderful.” The store will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Friday from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturday from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. For more information, visit them online.
