Sure, the original Big Easy is several states away, but you can find all that famous Cajun flavor right here in Roswell at Roux on Canton. The southern-style restaurant finds inspiration in the intoxicating flavors found down in the bayou and brings them home to the historic district for locals. Live music on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights serves as a good alternative for a trip to the French Quarter. "The reason we decided to do Roswell Restaurant Week is actually quite simple: we love Roswell, especially downtown historic Roswell," said Christina Devictor, who handles marketing for Roux. The owner of Roux, Zachary Bramblett, comes from a family which has owned several restaurants on Canton Street since 2001. "We believe that …

There are several things Roswell is known for, among them: parks, history and restaurants. So is it really any wonder the Historic Merchants Association decided to market the latter to its full potential by hosting the first ever Roswell Restaurant Week in January?
