The success of the Roswell Arts Festival has inspired the organizing committee to update the logo as they celebrate 46 years of art and community service. Creating the logo was not an easy task and it had to be done in time to release in promotional materials for the 2012 festival. The committee wanted the logo to convey the vibrancy of the arts and capture the fun of the festival. After several versions, the new logo (shown in this article) was established and is now being showcased in many ways. The committee is extremely proud of the festival and the funds it has raised to help our community. Over $882,000 from the Arts Festival has supported recreation and parks in Roswell. Canton Street's Alive After 5 has become increasingly popular in recent years - and now the Roswell Square Merchants Alliance is getting in on the action with its coordinating event, Alive at the Square. The local news morning show visited Roswell this morning, Wednesday, April 9.
It was extremely early and a bit rainy, but that didn't stop plenty of Roswell residents from showing up at the historic Roswell Square this morning while the 11Alive News Morning Show crew broadcast live. The show featured local restaurateurs, bootcamp participants, cheerleaders from Roswell High School, a group from Roswell North Elementary, city leaders and spirited residents from 4:30 a.m. until 7 a.m. during local segments interwoven with the TODAY Show. 11 Alive will broadcast live tomorrow, May 9, from Historic Roswell town square from 4:30 a.m. - 7 a.m.
While much of the metro area gets ready for work and school, the 11Alive News Today morning show will broadcast live from the historic square in Roswell, tomorrow, Wednesday, May 9 from 4:30 a.m.-7 a.m. The morning show team - including Karyn Greer, Ted Hall and Chesley McNeil - are taking their show on the road, literally. Hundreds of people jammed the Roswell Town Square all Saturday afternoon while enjoying the delights of Taste of Roswell.
The Historic Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau couldn’t have ordered up better weather for the Taste of Roswell on Saturday afternoon. With a light breeze, temperatures in the 70s and only a few puffy clouds in the sky, the foodie fans came out. Hundreds of people soaked up the sun, mingled and gobbling up samples of great food. Roswell Town Square was loaded with people much of the afternoon. “It’s a great reason to get the children out of the house, said Karina, who brought her 3-year-old grandson Roman from Smyrna to try out the food. The Roswell Square will be North Fulton's health and wellness epicenter this weekend when the city of Roswell and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta come together to host the second annual Family Music, Health and Wellness Expo. Vendors from throughout the local community will offer health, wellness and the music therapy services to local residents for free. Free blood pressure, bone density, blood glucose, cholesterol and skin care screenings will be provided.
