Senate Leadership Holds 'Solutions Summit' in Roswell Wednesday
The Georgia State Senate Majority leadership is on a tour of Georgia to find out what residents want state government to do for them.
Georgia State Senate Majority leadership, including Sen. Chip Rogers (District 21), Sen. John Albers (District 56) and Sen. Fran Millar (District 40) met with local residents Wednesday night for a "Solutions Summit" at the Country Club of Roswell. The purpose of the meeting was to gather ideas and solutions for current issues impacting Georgia. Nearly 100 people showed up to voice their opinions, speak with the senators personally and listen in on what others had to say during the meeting. The tour through Georgia Senate districts continues with meetings in Augusta and nearby Cherokee County this fall.
