Deadline for Voter Registration Approaching

Fulton County residents must register by Oct.9 to participate in the Nov. 6 general election.

Fulton County residents who are interested in participating in the upcoming November general election are reminded to register to vote before the deadline on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Registered voters are urged to check and make sure their address information on file with the department is up-to-date, especially if they have had an address or name change recently. To register to vote in the state of Georgia, you must: Residents registering to vote for the first time and registered voters who want to update their information both need to fill out a voter registration form. Voter Registration Deadline Today

Monday is the last day you can register to vote in the March 6 primary.

The voter registration deadline for the 2012 Presidential Preference Primary is today, Monday, Feb. 6. The General Primary Election will be held on March 6.   To register to vote in Georgia, you must be: a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you wish to vote, and at least 18 years of age by Election Day.
