Winter Storm To Hit Roswell

Roswell residents can expect a snow and ice storm to hit Sunday night, according to weather reports.

A winter storm watch is in effect for most of North Georgia, including Roswell, as temperatures continue to drop and wet weather begins to roll in on Sunday night. The National Weather Service is calling for increasing clouds and a high near 34 degrees today. This evening, temperatures will drop below freezing and there is a 100 percent chance of snow. Wind speeds will hover between five and 15 miles per hour, with gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Snow accumulation predictions for Roswell range from two to four inches in some areas. Even more accumulation is predicted farther north.
