She arrived at 2:39 a.m., weighing in at 10 pounds, 9 ounces and is 22 inches long. “Everyone was convinced Elizabeth would come early,” said Britney in a press release. “[New Year’s] really didn’t figure in our minds until after she was born.” Britney began having contractions on Dec. 29, her due date. A couple from nearby Suwanee made their own New Year's fireworks as they reportedly have the honor of bringing metro Atlanta's first baby of 2012 into the world. Jennifer and Ryan Leo of Suwanee gave birth to daughter Scarlett Rayne at Northside Hospital just after the clock struck midnight Sunday, according to an e-mail by Katherine Watson of Northside Hospital. Scarlett weighted 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 21 inches long. She joins two other siblings, sisters Adagia and Teagan. "We watched the ball drop and then she came," Jennifer Leo said.
