'Mini' Job Fair on Monday, Dec. 10 is the first event in which the Roswell United Methodist Church Job Networking Program and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce are partnered.
A grassroots, volunteer job networking program at Roswell United Methodist Church is forming an alliance with a group of businesses to lower unemployment and help North Fulton job seekers find work. The Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the nationally-acclaimed Roswell United Methodist Church (RUMC) Job Networking Program, said chamber CEO Brandon Beach. In forming this strategic alliance, the chamber will work with the RUMC in its mission to lower unemployment and match job seekers to openings in North Fulton. Jobseekers can expect a little more job networking help than usual from the semimonthly event at Roswell United Methodist Church on Monday, when local employers set up a mini job fair to fill vacant positions. The church's job networking, which begins with workshops at 1 p.m., is held every second and fourth Monday of the month. But this upcoming event will pack and bigger punch than usual. After the 5:45 p.m. dinner, eight local employers will shop open positions ranging from sales to janatorial and everything in between during the April 23 mini job fair event, from 7 p.m. until 7:50 p.m. Following the job fair author and keynote speaker, Chuck Russell, will address attendees. RUMC's job-networking ministry offers practical help for job-seekers.
Every second and fourth Monday night, there are so many cars in the Roswell United Methodist Church (RUMC) parking lot you might think it's a Sunday morning. But the people who pack the church on Mondays need to be ministered to in a different way and that's exactly why the church began its job-networking ministry over two decades ago. Resumes in hand, local jobseekers have sought council and direction from RUMC’s ever-growing job-networking ministry. The ministry began in 1989 and for the first few years, only a handful of volunteers and jobseekers came together. Now, over 20 years later, more than 350 volunteers help run the job-networking ministry at RUMC. There are at least eight different workshops that run throughout the day for …

Roswell United Methodist Church is helping to educate job-seekers and connect people with work.
Roswell United Methodist Church is seeing a growing number of people attend its twice-monthly job networking ministry program. The program has become so well-known that several national news programs and articles have made it their focus, including the Wall Street Journal and ABC World News. The program - which holds meetings the second and fourth Monday of each month - offers unemployed workers the chance to brush up their resumes, interview and job skills. The next meeting, Monday, Jan. 23 at 5:45 p.m. will feature speakers Rusty Gordon and Molly Wendell, author of "The NEW Job Search."

Is the job fair April 23rd or March 11th? What time will the job fair take place? When will Chuck Russell be the keynote speaker--April 23rd or March 11th? What time will be be speaking.
