Ten students committed to schools on National Signing Day.
Ten student athletes from Roswell High School officially signed letters of intent to play at colleges around the country during National Signing Day, Wednesday, Feb. 6. Five Centennial High School football players and seven soccer players make their college selections known during National Signing Day on Wednesday.
It’ll be anchors aweigh for Centennial High School defensive back Amari Ross. Ross, who will join the United States Naval Academy team this year, was one of five senior football players to sign a letter of intent at Centennial auditorium on Wednesday morning. Wednesday was National Signing Day for college athlete prospects. The five football players were joined by four female and three male soccer players, who also made their college choices known. The auditorium was filled with students who cheered each of the 12 signings. Ross said the chance to "Go Navy" was too good to pass up. “I’m looking forward to becoming a better man, learning life lessons and becoming a leader,” Ross said.
