● Whiz Kid's Name Adam Silverman ● Whiz Kid's School Centennial High School ● Whiz Kid's Accomplishment Silverman was named a semifinalist for selection on the U.S. Physics Olympic Team. ● Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness (what made him/her successful?) Adam Silverman is one of 384 students who now progress to the final round of competition for the U.S. Physics Olympic Team by taking the semifinalist exam. If he has one of the top 20 scores nationally, Silverman will be a member of the U.S. Physics Olympiad Team and will travel this summer to Bangkok, Thailand, for the 42nd International Physics Olympiad.

Whiz Kid's Name: Amy Martin Whiz Kid's Age: 16, Sophomore Whiz Kid's School: Centennial High School Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Exemplary Scholar Athlete for both Varsity Cross Country and Lacrosse Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness (what made him/her successful?): Amy Martin is a sophomore captain for the Centennial Lady Knight's Varsity Lacrosse team. She is both a leader on the field and off the field. In 2010, as a freshman she was our leading scorer with a total of 46 goals for the season. So far in 2011, Amy has scored 25 goals and she plans to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. Amy has an overall GPA of 96.35 percent and she is on the Principals Honor Roll. The award is a nationwide program honoring young people for exemplary acts of volunteerism. The awards program, now in its 16th year, is conducted by Prudential Financial, Inc. in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
