Ms. Hector is a nationally recognized advocate for animal welfare and shelter reform.

Appointed to serve on the Fulton County Animal Control Hearing Board on March 6 2013 - January 1 2016 by unanimous vote of the Fulton County Commissioners.

She was on the board to successfully implement lifesaving shelter reform for Rabun County, GA 2012.

Ms. Hector crafted legislation including the Georgia Animal Rescue Act (HB 782 2011 Session) sponsored by Representative Darshun Kendrick of the Georgia Assembly http://www1.legis.ga.gov/legis/2011_12/sum/hb782.htm

She has been featured on the radio as a guest and co-host on animal welfare programs.

Ms. Hector is a former litigator and National Director for Real Legal Technology Solutions, formerly Southeast Supervisor for West Group’s Lawoffice.com e-commerce solutions. Ms. Hector has been an often requested speaker at marketing and technology CLE’s, seminars for the legal community including court reporters, legal technology consultants and law firms.

Ms. Hector is a Member of Georgia Bar in Good Standing, graduate of Emory University School of Law, Atlanta, Georgia, J.D. Degree; Stony Brook University, Long Island, New York B.A. in Political Science; where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude.
