I was wondering if there was a article wrote about last Sat's Fashion show @ Abror Place Mall I was there meet 2 patch.com employees as I was working the show too and I was hoping to read the article from the event.
Ms. McLain, I'm sorry to see you go but there has been no hypocrisy. This is what I responded to: "I've seen numerous complaints on this site about other people's perceptions of Douglasville. Perhaps if we stopped allowing posts such as this to be published as "News", people would have a higher opinion of our town." I did not chide you for disagreeing with anyone. I welcome it. I felt the need to simply clarify that Patch does not pass blogs off as news, nor have there been "numerous complaints on this site about other people's perceptions of Douglasville." I will step in when there are inaccurate comments about the site.
I'm officially off of Patch, now and for as long as it remains what it is now. But I wanted to point out 1 thing to you before I go. You talk about wanting everyone to be free to express their opinions & debate, and chide me for disagreeing with someone. Yet when Ms. Crawford's friends attack me for expressing my opinion, you do nothing. This hypocrisy is one of this site's main problems. I hope for your sake you figure it all out.
Enter your tip here and it will be sent straight to
Christine Foster, Roswell Patch Staff, and Hunt Archbold,
Roswell Patch's (incredibly grateful)
editors.

No Ashley, there wasn't anyone there from Douglasville Patch. If you have photos though, we would love to publish them.
