Lorraine Bowyer, Neighbor

Lorraine Bowyer has lived in Summit for nearly 15 years with her husband and three children, ages 14, 13 and 10, who attend the Summit public schools. While volunteering and community service take up much of her time, being a mom is her full-time job.  You might also find her playing paddle or tennis, walking her black lab, cooking or baking, or speaking Italian with anyone she can find. Born and raised outside of Syracuse, she is a 1989 grad of SUNY Oswego, with a BA in Communications/Public Relations and a minor in Italian. She loves to travel and has spent months traveling the US and Europe – but especially enjoys visiting her family in Italy.  She is looking forward to being Summit's eyes and ears through "About Town" and the Summit Patch.
